Bob was born in 1946 and grew up in Maine as an only child in a blue-collar family. Bob was raised in the United Methodist Church and became a licensed Lay Minister when he entered college. He did supply preaching during college then went to Andover Newton Theological School in Newton Centre, Mass. for seminary. Bob served as a solo pastor from 1970 to 2013: 5 years in New Hampshire, and for over 38 years as pastor of the Cascade View Presbyterian Church in Everett, WA.

Bob has six children ages 22 to 39. His youngest just graduated from Seattle University. During those years he was both divorced (1986) and widowed (2000). He spent over 20 years as a single parent. In 2013 Bob remarried and now lives in Mukilteo, Wa with his wife, Ginger, and 3 adult cats.

Bob grew up in the church, gave his life to Christ when he was 15 at a Billy Graham Crusade. In his years of ministry Bob loved preaching, working with youth and pastoral visitation. He gives thanks to God for his call to serve the most wonderful of folks on earth… the laity of our Lord’s Church.
